Once again, our girls were on the march on International Women’s Day, joining forces with other girls and women from districts across Zambezia Province to call for rights and justice. They joined hundreds of girls and women marching through Quelimane town drawing attention to their demand for their rights to an education, to freedom from violence, equality before the law and much more.

These demands are in line with the current priorities of the Ministry for Women and Social Action in Mozambique, as also in other countries across the globe.
