On the 19th December, a meeting took place with community leaders, parents and teachers to review and assess the outcomes of the Girls’ Project over the year. The overall assessment of the girls’ empowerment project, in particular, the creation of Girls’ Clubs in Idugo and Supinho was positive and it was agreed that it has had a marked impact on the lives and outlooks of girls in both communities.

Those present congratulated AORIS and the Zalala team for their work and urged them to continue this work next year so as to consolidate the outcome and to include more girls in both communities.
