Baby Angela – the first baby to be delivered at the maternity centre last December – is growing strong and healthy. Veronica, the Foundation’s community worker, visited her at home with her mother and delivered a ‘capulana’ -cloth for wrapping her in, a gift from her ‘godmother’ in London!

Veronica also visited her own namesake ‘Veronica’, the second baby delivered at the maternity centre and presented a capulana to her mum.

Both babies are healthy and thriving.
